It seems....

It seems that quite a few ex-Tarn players remain in the area after their careers... Now what does that tell you about our good and wholesome town (nods head proudly).

Remember that hat trick wasn't it a perfect hat trick , right foot , left foot and a header?

My memory isnt as good as it used to be but I am sure Owen was a local lad who moved away and then came back like Heckinbottom.

    I remember it well

Early season midweek match. No mean feat as Oxford went up as champions that season.

Thats cos he was fecking ace.

25 goals in 68 games says he was the best winger we have EVER had IMHO.

I could be getting him confused with someone else but I am sue I once saw him come on as sub at home and immediately run and flying headbut an opposition player, just by the brewery touchline, cop end. Stood up and started walking before the ref even reacted.
