    Here Here

Thanks for everything you have done for BFC, which at many times must have seemed like a thankless task. Best of luck for the future.

    Mr. Gordon Shepherd

I have just seen your statement on the Barnsley Football club Website and would just like to say "Thank You" for everything you have done for me, my family, CFSN, Barnsley as a whole and for just being a TRUE GENTLEMAN.

Enjoy your time with your Wife and Family.

    Gordon's laid good foundations

Hopefully, the next chairman will build on them and take the club forward. I have every confidence that Patrick Cryne will make a sound selection. I suppose he could always do the job himself.

    Best of luck Shep

Some good work and a club in a far better position than when you started.

Now we need to kick on further and develop a sense of greater professionalism about the club off the field.

I wonder if the Organ Grinder will take on the role officially now then?

    Good luck and thanks

Turned us completely around. I'm hoping the replacement is Cryne, someone who isn't going to do a Ridsdale.

:D i agree though. He has done well for us turned things around it was a slipperly slope we had been on. However things need to change(off the field) that has to start from the top and work down. We make ourselves look very poor sometimes, ticketing fiasco's, the coach chaos reported for the wembley game, the club shop. Lack of offers on tickets, season ticket schemes, there is a lot that can be down. The shoddy state of the website.

I know Gordon will see this

Thanks a lot for everything you've done.

You've pointed out or acheivments and they are fantastic to say we've done them in (under?) 4 years.

I hope you have the best of luck with whatever you decide to do. But enjoy a well earned rest first. I don't care whatever anyone else says, you have worked wonders and will always be remembered.

    I cannot say thanks enough.

    Good Luck Uncle Gord

It's thanks to you that you leave the club in a much better state than when you joined. You deserve all the happiness in the world and I hope the new chairman is as approachable as you have been. Thank you to you and your family for giving us a football team to watch.

    All the best
    Andrew

    Agree 100%

Thanks for all the hard work.

You may not think at times we appreciated what you did, but all true fans will know you did it out of a love for the Club, and have put us into a much stronger position.

Good luck in whatever you do.
