to those still peeved off about the mcindoe, ritchie, stuff i suggest listening to the gordon sheperd interview on bfc world!ive just listened to it and to me this man knows what he's doing!good listen and makes things alot clearer than the article on the website the other week did. cheers
He spent 4 hour with McIndoe asking him to stay Why didn't he tell us that last Thursday Dunt he know that comments like these go along way with fans Shep would get more support if he was more open more quickly with fans
Perhaps Mr Shepherd labours under the impression that fans won't fly off the handle like spoilt little brats the first time they hear something they don't like and that he then won't have to go into every little detail in order to pacify the poor dears ?</p>
RE: He spent 4 hour with McIndoe asking him to stay Does it matter if he spent 5 minutes, 4 hours or 4 days trying to persuade him..... He still went.
But he is willing to phone up someone from an internet board who calls for him to resign to pacify that poor dear?
Must be, maybe he should ring up everyone who is confused over what is going on, then we'd all feel better rather than having one favourite stooge.
RE: I think it's ... Nah, he constructs sentences too well to be Roundsman. And he's kept to his original point of view.
You may have a point. But I'll stick with Roundsman. Or Hofner Bassman. Or the Seeker of Truth & Justice. Whoever it is - he's more bitter than a pint of jif.
wouldnt have happened if they had done the contract right in the first place though and before i hear - "he wouldnt have come".... balls - why did he come in the first place? What orher clubs were in for him at the time. Derby obviously didnt offer him anything. They knew what he was like and they didnt get his contract right. They have basically allowed him to bugger off for **** all by the sounds of it. What was the point of a contract in the first place. And also - so what if he didnt come pre-season - we could have signed someone with some loyalty to the club and some backbone to see it through the season at least and not leave us in the ****! Rant over!
Really? Not seen it for years. I find that if I require lemon juice - I tend to purchase a lemon & squeeze it. I'm off home before Roundsman appears again.
Boltonred...........I think it matters........... the time spent trying to get him to stay Because there was NO NEWS from the club, fans were under the impression that he had been sold to raise money for other players Especially when you realise that a left sided midfielder was brought into the club during the morning Now, if you beleive what Shep says, and we have to beleive what he says, then this is not the case - all attempts were made to try and make him stay at the club Which of course is totally the flip side of what most fans were thinking at the time So its important that the club gets news out quicker than what they are doing at the present time One week later is a joke and could be conceived as patronising to the fans
