    Well, SOMEONE is going to have to sign a couple of players before the end of the week.</p>

    Presumably, in the absence of anyone else, Gordon will have to gamble with a couple of his own recommendations.</p>

    Apparently it was Shepherd who signed Mcindoe and Togwell- so his judgement does look good.
