AS most of you are aware yesterday was somewhat frantic in the loan deal market with this Club being busier than most.

Four players were brought in all of whom hopefully will make a difference in our efforts to climb out of the relegation zone. The players are Ronnie Wallwork from West Brom, Kyel Reid, Leon Knight and Grant McCann. They were featured on our website last night so I do not propose to go over old ground in that respect.

What I feel that you should know is the situation regarding the departure of Michael McIndoe as fans need to know the facts of the matter.

I can confirm that we did not want to lose Michael as he is such a talented and effective player but unfortunately he had a clause in his contract which facilitated a transfer should he wish to join another club. Obviously when we signed Michael from Doncaster Rovers we would have preferred not to accept such a clause but without it there would have been no deal. In the circumstances therefore we accepted that clause and hoped it would never be triggered.

Sadly, yesterday, it was and there was nothing we could do about it. It was finally signed absolutely on the deadline last night and then one or two administrative matters needed tidying up before any announcement could be made. Despite the usual conspiracy theorists we were not, and are not, hiding anything nor is there any need to do so.

A plus point that should be borne in mind is that we will make a profit on the transfer albeit a modest one.

I do hope having access to this information clears the matter up and we can now move on.

Finally, I would like to thank Michael and wish him every success in the future.

    Gordon Shepherd

Fair enough... McIndoe obviously wanted to go to further his Scotland aspirations and we got a profit...

I'm not a conspiracy theorist but

weren't they lucky to have signed a left winger on loan ... and then find out that Mcindoe was off.

What with the Mcindoe thing being last minute an' all [IMG]

It looks like McIndoe saw BFC as no more than a place to go and get noticed by the big boys in a higher division than he was playing in at Doncaster. He was cynical, but we were naive.

So there we have it children, the statement you've all been screaming for, quite straight foreward, its what the more level headed people on here have been saying, but I'll lay a grand to bucket of sh*t that it wont stop the kiddies from throwing their dummies out of the cot and spouting the usual crap. And YN calling for a statement on summat else.

    RE: howard next?

Just look at what you got for your money. Your chairman says you made a modest profit, but did you??
Think of the wages Macca has picked up and I bet the "profit" will not cover them.
All you got was the sight of a player who looked after his own ends at your expense.
Now that's what I call good business.
:pff :pff :pff :pff :pff :pff :pff :pff :pff :pff

Never mind you can get even with him on New Years Day, but don't be surprised if he does not have the balls to turn up. Prone to injury when it suits him !!!!!
