It's obvious your appointment of SD isn't working - the results speak for themselves. He's failing tactically, and possibly also as a motivator, and it's unsurprising, as he's a novice and was given a huge task of raising a team that was at the time 3rd from bottom. If Simon Davey COULD change things, he would have done so by now. You must take responsibility - the situation we were in called for EXPERIENCE in a manager, not for a novice experimenting with his ideas. I know it's early days but there's no light at the end of the tunnel, with SD apparently unable to change things round, and time running out.

Simon Davey obviously wants to do well, but again it seems very evident that he'll be unable to stop the rot. The role you gave him was too much for someone with so little experience, and you must accept responsibility for that. Something's got to be done, you just can't let things drift, as that way we're doomed to relegation. Keep him on in his previous role if he was effective there, but bring in someone with experience to get us out of this alarming fall before it's all too late. If there's another defeat at Luton on Saturday you must swallow your pride, admit you got it wrong, and ACT.
