Let's see if it works in all cases so we can get some information that many people have asked about in the past.

I reckon we only sold 4 season tickets this season.

    Good plan ...

I heard AFC Barnsley is financed by the artist formerly known as Prince, who has now reverted back to the name 'Prince'.

£20 for a seat in the Ponty End, the cheapest adult seat in the ground, is good value for money.

Some football fan of another club once told me that it's possible to buy their merchandise using a computer on the interweb thingy.

I also heard, from a bloke in the pub, that pie's at every other club are a million pounds sterling each.
Which is still cheaper than our place.
    Allegedly.
    Or summat.

    we dont sell trinkets...

oh no that one was cleared up before.

try again then. there is no good reason why the TV's are sitting gathering dust instead of being turned on and providing entertainment and a service that the customers of barnsley fc expect and deserve

    Electrickery is expensive.

The best way to utilise the experience of someone who has dealt with the finances of a Premier League club is to threaten them with legal action.

I don't know what that actually means.
    I just made it up.

rob, while you are correcting factually incorrect and deceiving information on the internet

will you be doing the same about your story where the headline claims you get 30,000 unique barnsley fans visiting your site every month?

i was thinking more along the lines of the fact that they arent all barnsley fans

probably upto half of them (if not more) are away fans looking at our site in the weeks upto playing us. your story implies they are all barnsley fans

when will the online shop be working?

I'm not having a go, but do you think that's correct?

Do you think 30,000 different Barnsley fans look at your site every month?

Hey, I've no problem with you using the figures in that manner to help generate income for the club through web advertising, it's to be praised, but are you happy with that being a realistic figure? 30,000 unique visitors? 1,000 different fans every day? Or is it 30,000 unique IP adresses?

''when will the online shop be working?''

    Is that a threat?

I would have thought IP addresses. A site I used to work for didn't collect visitor stats as they were unreliable - instead they only counted people who had spent a certain amount of time on the site and read more than one article.

In what context were the visitor numbers used as I haven't seen this story (question to anyone)?

30,000 BARNSLEY FANS CAN'T BE WRONG...
THE latest figures from Football League Interactive are in and the Official Barnsley FC Website attracted almost 30,000 unique visitors through August 2005.

That's almost 1,000 different people reading this site every single day through the course of the month and a lot of potential advertisers for your business. So by sponsoring or advertising on this site you could get your message across to tens of thousands of Barnsley FC supporters every single month.

    RE: Here

Site visits for website I worked on were 670,477 in June.

Have to say though article did say visits and not hits so it should be people who stopped and looked around which isn't bad really.

I think its an amazing number

1,000 new people every day. Astonishing. It's just that, how do thy know they're a new person. MY IP address is different everytime I log on.

For some reason, I have no idea why, I just want to mention the data protection act. Not that it would do anyone any good like. Don't know why I wanted to say that. I think I've gone hat stand.

What's an extra 6 weeks when we've waited nearly 2 years to get it sorted?
