just wanting to no as anyone been in or for a interview. just want to no if any one as got any advice thanks!
I had an interview with the RAF in 1989 and I remember coming out wishing I had done more research into the RAF itself. Get on their website, get to know what their bases are called and where they are in the country. They want to know that you are genuinely interested in the RAF.
Just tell them You really liked what they did in the Battle of Britain but that maybe Dresden was a bit unsporting and that you've been working on your moustsche. Nailed on.
What job are you thinking of doing?
If you are 6' 7"+ and built like our outhouse you will fit into the RAF regiment nicely... long hours though...
getting on the spanners isa good one, as some on here will tell you.. or are you thinking of errr, flying summat?
Never had an interview in my life though, but I think you are supposed to wear leather laiderhosen with the arse cut out and a pink ladys hat as suitable attire.
hope this helps..

After 18 years as an aircraft techhie reaching the dizzy heights of SNCO, my advice would be if your brainy enough and have the right aptitude then pilot/aircrew is the only way to go as the grass is considerably greener on that side of the fence plus you get the flying pay. Although saying all that its not been a bad 18 yrs, got about a bit, its just that joining today you'll need to get ready to go places warm and sunny with great regularity and i dont mean benidorm! lol!
