Lady was very nice & helpful and explained everything I needed to know. The only thing I do begrudge is a £3 booking for tickets over the phone, we have 17000 home seats to fill, don't see the need for extra's when we can't even fill 10000.

Anyway, I didn't book it just yet as getting it when we get to the ground. He is an oap, so it started out at £18, but as season pass holders you automatically get the discount on any extra tickets you buy, so down to £17 for his oap ticket now (£25 if it was for an adult ticket etc). When we get to the ground we will give voucher I out the pass for another £5 off, so his ticket is now costing £12.

He hasn't been for years (he isn't a fan anyway and we live in Hull) but I said about him coming and his plans have fallen through so he said he would come for the day out. He said 'I'll come if it's around £10 to get in' So for an oap £12 seems a fair price and with a little bit of work he's coming! I just feel like all the other threads that if we can charge these prices, then why all the hoop jumping, I think £20, £10 & £5 seem fair prices and should be done for the rest of the season and if we really go over the top and advertise it then lets see the improvements made!!!

I did say we don't get to the ground until after 1.30 as from Hull, normally either just before but sometimes just after 2. The lady said I can still buy tickets from the box office at this time in order to get the discount, it's just that they advertise 1.30 to avoid massive ques towards 3pm and any normal tickets (no discounts etc) might as well just be bought on the gate - some people still come in to buy these and cause unnecessary ques.

Brilliant. The club have actually admitted that they DELIBERATELY give out false information to try to STOP people buying discounted tickets

Although I agree the prices are too high and need to be dropped.this will aid the diehard non season ticket holder and the ones who try to get to as many matches etc.
It will not make a big difference in respect of enhancing the gate in the current climate IMO.
