Got my season ticket today but they'd ran out of books!

    Can only be a good thing though surely? Maybe we've sold more than the club were anticipating? Or maybe they simply have just ran out of books....

    Either way the excitement is kicking in massively for the new season for me now, was great to see the box off still so busy! Woman infront of me purchased four season tickets, and there's people writing on the BFC Facebook in mass numbers really saying 'I've got my first season ticket for ten years' etc. be interesting to see what gates we'll be getting.

    No mate, that was the only disappointing part. I did ask about the possibility of posting but there was a hell of alot of 'umming and arring' not to worry mind ill be calling in Friday to get a Rotherham ticket.

    I didn't ask mate, I've asked before in previous seasons and they seem to keep very tight lipped. Although on the computer the ora stand did look very busy, alot more seats down at the bottom were taken and it was a struggle to find 2 seats (both mine and a mates) together for the side closest to the east stand.

    No not as yet, albeit it is all paid for and so on. Said they should have them back in on Friday.

    Think the figure was 6700 last year, Flitcroft mentioned something about wanting to get to 10000 in that letter but I think that's wildy optimistic. If we can near 8000 that would be brilliant, not sure if it will have an overall impact on the attendances though as I'm guessing most of the people who have gone the season ticket route this year were pay on the dayers last year.

    Chronicle said on friday that we have already sold more than the 6,700 total for last season, so that's a start :)

    They don't help themselves - just logged on to eticketing to see how many of the dots have gone on the season ticket page and it says:

    We're sorry!
    This event is no longer onsale through the e-Tickets site or it has sold out. Always check onsales dates for all events to make sure that you don't miss out on any match tickets.

    I hope this is just a temporary problem with the site and the club haven't suspended sales just because they've run out of books!
