    Didn't appear to me, that there were 9,000 empty seats either. I was expecting em to read out '17,000' or summat. Was shocked at just over 14,000.

    Maybe they forgot to add on the away fans? It always turns out less than my visual guesstimations. Italrosso won the competition, only 7 out.

    4,000 empty seats in away end, 1500 in West Stand North, 500 in West Stand South, 2,000 in East Stand and a 1,000 in Ponty End

    Might be me that's wrong, won't be the first time. Maybe the West Stand is bigger than I think and there were more empty seats there. Point I was making was that I don't think the attendance was any where near 17,000 and 14,000 looked about right from where I was sat in the Ponty End.

    Just Googled it.

    West 4752
    East 7492
    Ponty 4508
    North 6000
    Corner 257
    Total 23009

    West Stand is a lot bigger than I thought and was nowhere near half full so revised estimate: - 3,300 empty seats in North, 2,700 in West, 2,000 East and 1,000 Ponty

    The north stand holds 6,272 and the North side of the west stand that was closed holds 2,242 (according to the stadium plan on the official site) so that's 5,812 empty seats straight away.
