* Five local derbies and not even a fecking goal. How pathetic is that? The local derbies are some of our worst games as well. It wouldn't bother me if we never had a local derby ever again, based on recent form. * Davey should be banned from future press conferences, for the garbage that comes out of his mouth. If he genuinely believes we were the better side today, he needs to think again. We were lucky Steele was on the ball or it could have been three or four. * What's all this Davey says about the players up for it? If that's up for it, I don't want to see them not up for it. He says they aren't thinking of Wembley and that he can't fault his players. Well they obviously are thinking of Wembley and yes your players can be faulted Simon. * The fans who stayed away today, I don't blame them. Money doesn't grow on trees and so if it's a choice between going to a local derby (which we don't know how to win) or going to Wembley, it's a given which to pick. * At this rate the fans should sing "Que sera sera. Whatever will be will be. We're going to division three". * It wouldn't have harmed our impotent strikers to actually make Kenny work. The only thing he had to endure this afternoon were chants about the missus. * Thankfully we didn't have to endure on our official *****, a bunch of player interviews saying how up for it etc they are.
Might as well add the quality of the matchday programme and the fact turnstiles were shut, to the list.
What a surprise - Dreamboy reacting. Yes - I was gutted beyond belief today, and not getting at least a point has really put us in the ***** - we needed all three. That being said the only point that you have made that serves any purpose (imho) is the issue of us not testing the goal keeper enough. The rest are only irritational factors - keeping focused on what actually matters, we need six or seven points (at least) from eight games. I don't give a **** where they come from, just so long as we do what we have to and we stay up. Three points at Burnley (who are far from perfect) would be a good start. Of the rest on the list, Cardiff, Preston, Leicester and Charlton are all beatable, although Leicester and Charlton are going to be have to be vital points that we can't afford to throw away. Let's stay positive and not start nit-picking through the official website eh? Hand on heart, I do not believe this is a relegation side - they might survive by the skin of their teeth, and I don't believe for a minute that we'll win the F.A. Cup, but let's get behind them.
SPOT ON DREAMY It never usually gets me down after a Barnsley loss, but I'm soooo mad 2nite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing to do with that A similar team beat Chelsea the other week, it's nothing to do with attendances.
RE: Nothing to do with that can you honestly expect the players to see the Blades as equivalent to playing Chelsea? Did you ?
Seeing as its a local derby I'd expect more passion than I saw today. We played pretty stuff at times, but in the end they just overpowered us in the middle. Leon, Howard, Hassell - far too small to play together. We desperatly need some more midfielders. There's no point in Howard playing until after the final as he just shits himself everytime he goes near someone else.
If he'd av got a card today this bored would be full of cnts blaming him for it. We had a nailed on peno on Foster on the first half and the game wouldve been different.
