    There are always exceptions to the rule; football in general is ridiculously overpriced in this country. We don't compare well with Germany or even Spain in some cases.

    I know some clubs have waiting lists for season tickets which I find amazing.

    There's a waiting list because our grounds are so small. Number of stadia by country that hold over 50,000 for league football

    Germany has 11 grounds
    Spain has 7 grounds
    England has 3 grounds

    Likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool having small capacity grounds.

    What I was alluding to is that despite the soaring cost of football and an economic downturn in this country there is still more demand than supply at certain clubs.
