    Agreed. Played a simple game where every player knew his job and did it

    Tellingly, most of the time when they got the ball they went forward. England went square.

    Id be less partonising!
    People keep treating Iceland like Barnsley get treated
    Dont forget they qualified out of a group which included Holland, they finished second in their group
    They were much better than England in all areas of the pitch.
    It will be interesting to see how they play against the French - but I wouldnt put France into the Semis just yet

    Wasn't meant to patronising at all. They were far better than England and what they did was play a hard working 442. I can see how my post could have been interpreted that way. Sorry

    All the best to them. Defended well. Limited us to less clear chances than any of the other 3 sides we've played & showed more ambition.

    Better team won. We got what we deserved nowt. I would fancy Barnsley to beat England if they played like they did in this tournament and we played like we did at the end of last season.
