England skipper Michael Vaughan has suffered a fresh injury scare ahead of Saturday's Group C match against Kenya after tripping over a POT-HOLE. The fall forced Vaughan to sit out most of Tuesday's practice at the Gros Islet ground as he received treatment from physio Dean Conway on his right knee. It is the same knee that kept him out of action for most of last year following surgery. However, England insisted Vaughan's absence was merely precautionary. The 32-year-old was at least able to field a handful of throwdowns, though he was unable to bat in the nets. If Vaughan was to miss a game, it would put England in an awkward situation following their decision to strip Andrew Flintoff of the vice-captaincy. The team have not yet named another vice-captain after reprimanding the 29-year-old all-rounder for a late-night drinking session that ended with him needing to be rescued from a pedalo in the early hours of Saturday morning.
