Got to say I agree with SD, patience needed... no need to rush... this time lets get it right!

The season doesn't Kick-off for 35+days, the transfer window has officially be open less than 3days and there are some 66days remaining in this transfer window.

Generally most players around country have only just (this week) returned from summer break for pre-season training. Managers will now assess their squads in more detail e.g. look at strengths and weaknesses, fitness of players, then deal with players contracts and consider bids for players.......depending on who stays and goes they must then draw up a shortlist of transfer targets.

I'm not worried that we have signed anyone yet, ask me again in 2weeks if we haven't signed anybody and I will be a little more concerned! IMO we should hope to see some movement in the next week or so, but SD knows that this season he needs to get it right. We all have opinions about who we should and shouldn't bid for and we all feel we have missed out on a few players e.g. McGoldrick, Cox, Adebola.... who ever we sign someone will have an opionion one way or the other. None of us really know finacial restraints at oakwell, if SD has bid for players and if negotiations are currently taking place, and also who SD has targeted (apart from those mentioned e.g. Charlie Adam). We will get little info from the club until deals are done and other than that we have rumour and speculation from the media, more often than not made up or created by players agents.
