Shocking strike rate, lousy delivery on final pass most of the time(why keep hitting high balls so often against a team like them)tendency towards one or two potentially crucial **** ups at the back per game, inability to handle teams who are strong in the air etc
Lack of bite in front of goal was disappointing We had several that went to Disco, Howard and Richards who opted to pass when a pop at goal would have been more fruitful...gamble!
You forgot... Lack of movement and players attacking space (the one time anyone did - Nads in the first half - the ball from Shuker hit the first midfielder it possibly could have), the inability to find a plan B (they're better than us in the air and are winning everything, ergo kick it high and hope they eventually miss one), and wanting to dribble the thing into the f**king net rather than having a pop when the opportunity arises.
RE: You forgot... That what was noticably different about hudders and us, although they did not take their chances, when they moved forwards, they moved as a unit through our 'strong' midfield and had a plan, hit Booth and let Graham and Taylor run off him, it could have been much much worse for us tonight and Ritchtea has got to get his tactics right for Monday, stop playing hte hopeful ball down the wings, get it on the deck and run at them. We lost everything in the air tonight. Also while I am doing my managers spot, why do we insist on taking direct free kicks at goal when we have trouble a. getting over the wall and b. when it gets over the wall the very very tall centre halves clean up easily....OK time for warm milk and bedtime.
RE: Reckon I'll save that drop until Monday night..in celebration! again tactically naieve...ger it emptied and 'strengthen' for Monday theres no transfer window for spirits
I can see I still have a lot to learn about this drinking lark after all these years I shall see if it fits with my therapist schedule! ff
