Jesus Christ Superstar, Track Overture ,,,,,,,, all i could remember was WOW what a sound, bought the record set that folded out into a star, then went to see it the week it opened on Broadway,. front row centre. Tea For the Tillerman.Cat Stevens Track was Father and Son. No particular reason except for the fact its for me one of the best songs ever written. Every Picture Tells a Story. Rod Stewart. Track was Mandolin Wind, was in Oslo when i first heard the album in its entirity, I couldn't understand a word the young lady i was with said to me, but she played this for me. > Sigh< Four Way Street CSN&Y......Track ANY, just a album that blew me away and is still as good today as it was then. I was sorting through my Cd's and all of these are there, and have been since they were available on CD instead of vinyl and are also the first ones i put onto a Mp3 compilation or onto any Mp3 player etc....
some great albums there, i love 4 way st although it always gets panned by the critics, the expanded cd version with the added neil young trax is superb
the only thinng I recognised in that post was "Rod Stewart" Do i take this that I am "not in the know" on certain issues, or you are a at a serious grandad age No offence BTW S)

Ten Years After, The Who, Hendrix and CSN&Y Performance - Humble Pie. The Best of Cream LZ 1 and 2 and about 600 more youth defining, memory inducing classic albums.

What's the bugger is... ... I had a copy of Uncle Mort Goes South on tape, well two tapes really, but I've gone and bloody lost one. I did find Tales from the Long Room in the attic though, so it's not all doom and gloom.

not my type of thing but i know what ya mean about albums that sum up a period in your life not saying exactly why but mine are: Carter USM - 30 Something - 1st going out and growing up NoFX - Punk in Drublic - last year at Uni - brilliant times Pinhead Circus - The Black Power of Romance - post break up Lawrence Arms - Oh Calcutta! - only last year this, bouncing back and on a roll Sundowner - Four One Five Two - This year - happy times!
