And geographically fairly close to Rochdale, so we should really nick him!!!! Seriously tho good shout mate
I thought Fleetwood set up really well against us, well organised and had the desire. I'd be happy with that choice. Well, as happy as can be after such a ridiculous sacking.
Im sure he could negotiate a 3 month rolling contract! Obviously with a little caveat attached saying that if we don't win all our games hes sacked with a 5 year deal in his back schooner!!
He currently has job security, the respect of his employers and the adulation of the fans so I'm not sure he'd want to trade that for a job that only lasts about a year, Bill and Ben as his bosses and the angriest and most demanding fans in Britain on his back from the second week in charge.
Really think this will be the guy, so much so im tempted to stick a fiver on him, but his name isn't in the running via oddschecker. Just checked his record, since he was placed in charge in 2012 he has a 41% win ratio, very good record that.
How long would you give him, mate, considering you've wanted shut of all three of our last three managers in pretty quick time?
He's down well with Fleetwood but I thought they were pretty poor the other night (we were much worse) but if entertainment is your thing that wasn't it.
As an ex-Preston right back, and expert penalty taker, he'd be a good shout. We could actually have a few full backs on the books. He could even put his own boots on!
If the next man loses games on a frequent basis serving up poop then he won't last very long! 3 year plan = Pie in the sky
We've already had an ex Fleetwood boss that folk never gave a chance.. who's not doing too bad elsewhere... cant see it missen
3 year plan = Pie in the sky[/QUOTE] I have to disagree. The last 6-7 1yr plans havent worked. Im still of the opinion with the age of 80-90% of our recruits and academy lads (that PC BM etc sanctioned) that no way on earth was this group of young, inexperienced players going to be successful at the first attempt. Which begs the question...... who (bearing in mind our 7 points from play offs - relegation) is to blame????? I'm sure Ben etc will disagree, but im sure theyll bullsh1te their way out some how
Pretty much everything that is wrong with modern football and modern football fans. The Sky generation.
