Gran ( Dad's mum ) has been rushed into hospital

After suffering a heart attack , this morning .

She was complaining a little , this afternoon because there's an old man sharing the section of the cardiac care ward she and two other elderly women are on . I think it means she's feeling a little better . She was saying that "it's not right" for men and women to share the same room . Dad said the old man was hardly in a position to do anything , even if he'd actually noticed them in the first place !

 

Laura, sorry to hear that. You'll all be in my thoughts.

Gran is my only grandparent . Mum's Dad died ( before she and Dad met ) when she was only 18 . Her Mum died in 2002 , just a few weeks after Mum had had a hysterectomy . Grandad died just before Christmas 1999 .

You know Dad better than most . I don't think he's too pleased with me telling you all about Gran . He said to me "People have enought to worry about in their own lives , without you telling them about Gran." He's upset , but I don't think he likes to show it .

I can't get my arms around him !!ff I don't understand him sometimes . Whenever I've got problems or I'm ill , he can't do enough for me . He's the same with our friends , he's always concerned for their welfare and always wants to do whatever he can to help .Now it's him who's hurting , he doesn't want any help .
