Can I just say how good he was last night. Didn't give the ball away all night apart from one misplaced pass to Howard that went out for a throw, passed it well, got stuck in (I loved the tackle in the 1st half) and cleared one off the line.

I'm beginning to see why we bought him now.

    My overall ratings:
Colgan: 6- Didn't really have anything to do
Austin: 7- Difficult 1st half and tired at the end but kept going and played well considering he'd been out for 6 weeks prior to that
Heckingbottom: 7- His usual few dodgy moments and gets far too close sometimes but hung in there and defended well
Nyatanga: 8- Played well and looks like a superb signing (which I said he would be)
Reid: 9 (MOM)- That's the best I've seen him play since the play-off final. Immense!
Devanney: 7- Their left back was too good for him but he ran himself into the ground and you can't fault him for that
Howard: 7- One good cross to Ferneczi and kept the ball well. Can't be faulted for that
Togwell: 8- Ran his socks off and kept posession too. Greta performance
McCann: 8- Best game I've seen from him. Superb
Rajczi: 7- Worked hard and set up the goal but less effective than Ferenczi
Ferenczi: 9- I'm trying to think of a striker who works as hard as him. I can't. Fu*king right signing

    K. Reid: 6- Not on long but worked hard down the left.

He reminds me McPhail only with a little more fight and hunger.

    Devaney

Never got a thing out of their left back, but tracked back superbly all match and made some vital tackles.

That looked like it rolled down his shin and off the end of his boot.

It had a strange dip that indicated such a kick.
