todays game was lost in midfield

grant aint got big enough balls to be honest. He just doesnt play to his ability and proper get stuck in against the better teams. Today was a good example of that. He didnt want the ball and got shut of it sharpish every time he got it.

What I want you to do in the next home game is count how many times McCann passes the ball forward because in the second half today I was attempting to prove a point to my mate and I counted them. Answer, once from a free kick. He was also repeatedly out of position when Sunderland attacked us thoughout the first half.

He just never got into the game

It happens sometimes and it's up to the manager to make the appropriate changes / adjustments.

Interestingy, Mr Davey didn't use all his available substitutions today - so i guess he begs to differ.

Thought McCann was just Ok today. He did pull out of some challenges and didnt create anything but once again he did the simple things ok. Maybe about time for Howard to get back in middle though and put K Reid on the left.
