Poor team performance = poor reaction from crowd.........full stop

If we do well at the WELL on Setdi, especially against teams such as Sunderland that are near the top
Then the crowd will be behind the team

Last Setdi it were shocking - some in the crowd were actually boooing some of the players (N)

Its disappointing that having just won our previous two games that the fans didnt feel like getting behind them from the kick off.

    Your wrong again

They did get behind them right from the start, it only went quiet after the Huckerby assault. There even was singing in the East Stand upper at the start, which was very unusual but it was happening, but you have to admit it is difficult for anyone to sing after a kick in the goolies

Sorry not you personally but we had the same thread a couple of weeks ago about no singing from the start and as yesterday the Ponte end on that day sang right from the start untill that first goal again in the first few mins... It would be nice I agree to have a good atmosphere at every match, but its only going to come with a run of continuing good performances

pompy fans make fratton park rock regardless of the scoreline beacause they enjoy going to watch the team they support. some of our fans (no disrespect) just turn up to have a moan and a winge its a bit unfortunate really

All comes down to the fact that to stay up The team needs the crowd to get behind them AT HOME ,be the twelfth man,(increases confidence)play better and frighten the Wendy's we may pass them in the league, but maybe not, we need them to beat teams around us to give us a better chance of staying up .at the moment my glass is more than half full.

    Sorry mate.....

But ease off that 12th man stuff.

No matter how much we shouted, we couldnt make heckingbottom stay at left full-back. We couldnt have legislated for the that freak second goal and we couldnt possibly understand why he took Pete off to replace him with a striker that Davey tried to punt out to port vale a couple of months ago.

The glass is more than half full, we got away with saturday because everybody round us lost and we we have won the last 2. But the crowd doesnt get exited because the fare is crap. Why should they cheer for the sake of it. The management, (i wont say the players because they are not gunna be awesome every week), should realise that if the fans happy theres something wrong.

The crowd let them know when they are playing well and let them know when they are crap, and thats how it should be...
