and why not?

    lets look at the facts,
we have a very good ground, excellent facilities, we have a decent location to travel to and from. The present incumbents have worked hard to make us a viable package. There is a growing demand for buying football clubs for some reason at present. In the end of season statement Shepherd stated that no unreasonable offer would be unconsidered..we are at present just ONE season away from the premiership.....fan base.... well look at Wigan, Bolton, Reading, and Fulham.... we can get gates to match theirs easily. So why not ..why do you think Barnsley aint a decent prospect for a buyer or consortium of buyers. And what on Earth would be wrong with that..wouldn't you like us to flourish to grow to step up...I would...perhaps you might say Leeds up the road and the two Sheffild clubs down the road are bigger clubs than us, so why not go there....but hellfire look at the debts that they carry...think again matey we re a VERY VERY DECENT PROPOSITION RIGHT NOW.

But the club don't own the ground and facilities

Therefore you can't raise money using them as an asset in order to buy players

If club was sold then who would be doing the selling? Who actually owns the club? Is it just Gordon? Surely/maybe if club was sold then Cryne and BMC would sell other company to go with it?

Well they could easily buy the club then buy the ground etc off cryne and the council. After all the council are trying to raise money buy selling off buildings etc

    The Council...

is like that because it's made up of Councillors.

Arrogant self-important gobshites who think they know better than you how to run your life.

That's the only thinking they're capable of.
