There don't seem to be anybody saying how great the ref was today, thats if ur a blind man, cos he certainly was!

Why do we end up with so poor refs at oakwell?
we should have had two definate pens today, even a stoke fan said we should have had one. some of the fowels he let go unpunished were unreal.
A very poor ref very very poor /poo /poo

Who was it? On the subject of poor refs, i once almost developed a phobia with regards referees at Oakwell cos i thought that the FA sent down either the biggest bag of **** available, or they came down with instructions to favour the away team? And those lot down at Spackman Manor in Bermondsey always harp on about not being liked, eh?

    On the subject of referees.....

Does anyone remember which match Barnsley supporters gave a welcoming ovation to George Courtney as he ran onto the pitch? he even commented about it in the newspapers the next day - mind you, he did excel himself with a few decidedly dodgy decisions against the Reds.

that was leeds in the cup replay after he allowed john deehans equaliser in the home game, he then sent off (i think) Gary Fleming for a so called proffessional foul at elland road. we ended up losing (again i think) 4-0.

That's right.... The Deehan goal that Courtney gave at Oakwell was unbelievable. Evryone around me on the South Terrace just stood looking at each other for a brief moment before noticing Georgey Boy running back to the centre circle. I think some Leeds fans tried to lunch him as he walked up the tunnel under a police escort?

That Webster was ref against Hull when we in League 1 in 2004. He was shocking then as well.
