Now can we do something next Saturday that we haven't done all season and win three league games on the bounce ? If we do , then the margin of error for the likes of Hull , Leeds and Southend gets narrower and narrower .
The important thing now is that we are actually in control of our own destiny... so if we blow it we have no one else to blame.
Interesting looking at other forums Liecester, QPR & Dull are all bricking it and none predicting the drop for us anymore. Lets hope they are right.
RE: Great result today, lads and great backing from the fans Back from Southend, the Tykes support was tremendous, non-stop for almost the whole game. The whole team came across at the end to show appreciatiation. Great effort today, as with Birmingham game last week. Howard pulled off early as a precaution because of previous booking, Nads too. Southend applied some pressure naturally after they'd scored their goal, (we'd become a bit complacent) but we deserved the 3 points as the scoreline suggests. We need the same massive effort in ALL the remaining games. My best 3 today? Nads for 2 goals, Sam Togwell who covered so much space and made huge number of tackles and finally Kyle Reid - he tracks back so much to help out and as well as looking good going forward.
Don't worry I'm away in Glasgow. I'm sure my absence will work equal magic. Kev will tell you it has in the past.
I'm sure you'd agree with me People can call me & thee whatever the hell they like as long as we stay up! I think we can both even put up with being accused of not being "real fans"
I don't think I've ever Wanted us to play Scnuthorpe United in a league game as much as I want to next season !!!
You'd have to try pretty hard To offend me. Even then, I might feign non-offence just to wind you up. Mind you, that doesn't mean that you won't offend others so probably best not to. At least in public!
