Special to be in a buzzing Oakwell with atmosphere spilling out of the stands. But how bad were Derby's fans? I've never seen a stand full of away fans leave in droves with 15 minutes still to play and they were silent from our first goal onwards. Two games into a season against a team who were simply better than them. Smells a little bit like arrogance and disrespect to me. Diddums wahwahwaaah because they aren't beating little old Barnsley. Well done Reds fans, we showed them how to back your team.
Re: was there plenty of singing/chants Yes, Ponty End looked to be rocking from my seat in the East Lower, where there was also plenty of chanting. Rousing applause for the players subbed off and Hourihane and Hammill when taking corners too.
Support was fantastic today let's make it a wall of noise for every home game regardless of the score
Re: was there plenty of singing/chants Ponty end was rocking mate great support today we must have done over 10k season tickets judging by today
Re: was there plenty of singing/chants Great to see a few gaps filled in in the Ponty compared to last year. Felt like Oakwell did in the 90s glory days today with lots packed in and noise from start to finish. I'd love it if we can get 15,000+ in every week.
Yep, today was one of those performances coupled to the buzzing atmosphere were you can`t wait for the next home game.
