Great to have a thumping 'Rooney-free' committed England performance

I know that it was 'only Moldova,' but it still takes discipline and commitment to win by that margin and it could have been more. Will Hodgson be bold enough to keep Rooney tucked away on the bench when he is fit again?

I am praying that he doesn't play much at united so Roy has an excuse not to pick him as unfortunately I don't think he has the minerals to drop him otherwise. I have heard a few ex-pro's over the last couple of days saying how Rooney is so important to England and has been over the years. Frankly they sound ridiculous. Nauseating.
