Both Butterfield and Drinkwater had poor games which led to a sloppy first half performance noteworthy for Vaz Te's 7 second thunderbolt and Ranger's 1 on 1 miss. I thought that miss gave Palace heart and they equalized thro a bit a slack defending.

Fair play to Hill for switching Perkins to midfield; he upped the tempo for us, and Wiseman slotted in well at LB.

Much better second half and thoroughly deserved the 3 points. Davies could have had a couple tonight but it wasn't his night after his scoring run.

Brilliant to pick up 3 points, well done to Hillflicker, they are really earning their corn at the minute.

We'll lose to Ipswich on TV obviously, but enjoy the table as it stands.

I think we all agree that we didn't play that well, the passing was pretty awful at times, the let them run a us and gave them too much space at times and yet...

We created so may good chances, it could have been 5 or 6 goals for us tonight.

We gave them their goal and apart from that the only other scare was the header off the line, for which we had men back ready to cope.

Palace are no idiots, sure they could have been tired after so many games recently, but they didn't look it.
