    I don't particularly like the sound of over synthesised music.....similarly with drum machines.

    Therefore the music doesn't appeal to me.

    But the beauty of the synthesiser is that it can create any sound, it frees the musician from the finite configuration of sounds in normal musical instruments, it is the true punk instrument.
