Whilst you have to feel for the fans, I really hope Portsmouth finally get what they deserve. Another club that didn't learn from the 1st time round. These players hanging around at Portsmouth on big wages, if it does happen and they go under, will move onto another club for big wages. FIFA or UEFA should impose a ban on them.
I think there has to be a lot of criticism to authorities and especially the first administrators at pompey. Rolling up massive losses and maintaining extortionate contracts aren't a viable formula for financial success. And sadly a mercenary player doesn;t care about a club, they just want every penny they can get. HMRC is getting tougher with clubs and rightly so and there are so only a finite number of stupid bilionaires willing to throw their money at something with little hope of success. Sadly the £3bn TV rights for the premier league will have reversed some of the sanity and reality starting to breed into some clubs
sadly its the club and the fans that suffer and not the people responsible for the situation in the 1st place, why do they walk away unpunished ???????
I see on the news this morning Kanu is "sueing the club for millions". I despair. Benito Carbone and Our Ashley did the same to Bradford City.
