Parked at Meadowhall and got the tram to SW6. On the way back I started to pull away from traffic lights at a busy junction outside the shopping centre, but had to stop suddenly to let a police car with blue lights flashing come through the red light to my right. The car behind then smacked me up the backside! We both pulled up at the other side of the lights to exchange details, only for said police car to return and make a right performance out of it. Had to be classed as a Police RTC and investigated as such. It took three police vehicles and six officers 90 minutes to caution & breathalyse us, take statements and issue producers. Absolutely nowt either driver could do about it, but we both felt like criminals by the end of it. I thought it would be routinely settled from the Police's insurance, but apparently the bloke behind might cop for it. He was well pissed off. To cap it all they were only responding to kids messing about with a BB gun. Another fine day out in Dee-Dah land!
