Do you have to pre order a copy to get one on release day? Been told you can only buy it if you have preordered it (dunno)
I've heard the same - I think the popularity exceeded expectations.
Best bet would be to find somewhere online where it's still available (though that might be easier said than done) or queue up in the morning outside a shop somewhere and hope they have a few available
Failing that, give it a week or 2 and I'm sure copies will be available again

RE: Cheers matey By all means look around, it's only what my mate told me the other day, so perhaps not best to take my word for it.
But it would seem it's going to be hard to get hold of on the day of release

RE: I've been told the same If it's available, go for it!
I'm looking forward to seeing (well..hearing) if it's any good.
Not a huge fan of the series, but always a laugh

X-Box 360. Game and Gamestation stopped taking pre-orders a week ago. But I pre ordered at HMV on Wednesday and was told by my brother they are getting plenty of spare copies at Curry’s near Harborough Hill so copies will be available there. Cost £10 for me at HMV and I had to go in store to get it but that was the only place I could find where you could pre order.
I may have some available next week.... I had 30 GTA which l sold for £35 through ebay these are with me middle of next week, l have been in touch with a supplier and he's said that he may be able to get more next week if your interested. They are PAL versions for the 360, PS3 also available.
Ordered mine ages ago for PS3 from Powerplay Direct. Never ordered from them before but heard they are good. Got an email last weekend saying that they are getting stock early to cope with demand, and say I should have mine on Tuesday. I'm rubbish at the missions, but I just love pissing about on it killing innocents ;-)
Well yeah... But most people don't think of Asda for major game releases. The only time there was ever really a queue for a release of any kind was Harry Potter. And with it being an 18 rated game I can't see as there'd be quite as many people wanting to buy it, or thinking of Asda for a place to buy it. It'll probably be cheapest, too.
Unfortunately not... Just offering out friendly advice from personal experience. You know me... Everybody's best mate...
