    Some people have short memories

    No one complained when Newport County did it for us in 1968 & 1981, Wimbledon in 1979 & Oxford United in 1997 and we didn't win the title in any of those seasons. I think we should show the same respect on Saturday as they take the field, then put them to the sword for the match.

    Thats what I thought when I started the thread, I can remember some of those days and will never forget the respect we were given especially the Oxford game.

    spot on - top player for us - never has anything but good words for the club, says it as it is no matter whether he upsets folk or not.
    He is cracking company and he will probably have a real problem handling saturday knowing how we are fixed just now, if wolves were champions already he might had had them out of the lash all week which would be fine for us.
