Get off Ritchie's back. It's far too early for this.

I wish we'd never sacked Gudjon

Well, certainly not at that time. But now we've got Ritchie we've got to give him a chance. Those that were expecting instant success were kidding themselves. We're basically the same team as last year with less strength in depth and with Hayes instead of Chopra. Hayes may well turn out to be a great striker, but at present he's not quite at Chopra's level. I believe we are therefore weaker than we were last year. And I don't believe we underachieved last year. Our results perfectly reflected the quality of the team.

The fact is we haven't got any money and if Ritchie is going to be a success it's going to take time for him to assemble a decent enough squad. He simply can't go out and buy half a dozen players capable of getting us promotion. We're still undefeated at home and when Kell and Howard return from injury we may see an improvement away from home. In my opinion if Ritchie finishes the season with more points and a higher league position than last season then he will have been a success. All we can ask for is improvement; we can't expect miracles, as the squad he inherited simply wasn't up to much.

    That is true Jay

the problem we have is that once prices start rising the expectation levels do also

In the minds of a lot of fans..the club has to justify the 10% increase in prices

    I think that's a different argument

I'm far from happy with the price rises which have resulted in me having to shell out £20 for some matches this season that cost me £14 only two seasons ago.
