Poor old Gudjon - always seems to get the sack when things aren't even that bad

Met him at a supporter's meeting - top bloke

Strange season we had under Thordarson wasnt it. I can remember us doing well up to Christmas and then driving back from Hartlepool on boxing day after seeing us outplayed but win 2-1 thinking "Sign of a good team that can get results after playing badly". How wrong you can be eh?

A new year horror show was to follow. Getting beat by lower division Scunny and that walloping by the might of Grimsby Town coupled with a limp home defeat against Peterborough.

Maybe we over achieved in the early part of the season? I dont rate the guy myself. He hasnt done anything noteworthy since he left us.

He hasn't had a job, has he?

Should never have sacked him - we went down-hill after selling Fallon & removing Glavin from his post.

    We treat him like ****.

I'm not talking about his record with other clubs...

...I'm saying we shouldn't have replaced him when we did. He was the victim of his own early season success.

RE: I'm not talking about his record with other clubs...

He was the victim of Ridsdale coming in and wanting to appoint his own man - we were about 8th when he got sacked IIRC

I firmly believe that if he had been given the amount of backing PHart received in 2004/5 we would have been promoted
