Centrally Anderson was missing a creative partner JCR & Dev were the difference in the last 40 mins today
Anderson De Silva is a fantastic central midfielder But we've now got no one to partner him. Fortunately he did it on his own today, but he won't be able to do that every match.
RE: Centrally Anderson was missing a creative partner Ive got to agree with that, JRC played realy well. But Devaney put in a great shift and never gets any credit the best two wide players we have by far.
RE: actually cazi we did miss him. we need a creative midfielder after giving ours away nt No we don't we need a ball winner, a box to box get in your face type.
Leon powderpuff far too short, far too lightweight on the ball. Couldnt create a decent fart after a curry
RE: Centrally Anderson was missing a creative partner Personally I think we'll be ok, having said that, the centre of midfield was a weak point for me today (I know for a fact they can play better). Anderson and Leon were bullied off the ball by bigger players and (with the exception of Hume's goal) everything came down the wings. they were much better last week, I suspect that Rovers had done their homework. Leon off for Hasell was a good call and brilliantly timed.
Harsh I just wish he'd have an average game. 1 in 3 games he runs the show. 2 in 3 he is hopeless beyond belief. Will the real Diego Leon please stand up?
RE: Centrally Anderson was missing a creative partner Agree about Devaney, never short on effort but he really did work today. JCR is different class though. His workrate is immense and he really can cause problems on his day. Have thought it since the day we signed him, our best attacking player.
We do have some very good players.... Muller, Anderson, JCR, Foster, Hume are all class acts at their best, the first three with few peers in this league. Add in the effort and commitment of guys like Kozzie and Bobby Hassell around them and we're only a few players short of a good side. Colace might be one of these, just need another JCR and an Ashley Ward type then and maybe we're away. Quiet mention for Souza today, thought he stuck at it well and although his booking was on the face of it silly, it showed to me that he cared and gave me some hope that there was some spirit in the camp, which came to the fore after the sending-off.
