Would be my number one choice to replace Sven or Martin O'Neill if it was possible.

I'd agree with that. Hiddink has proved he can do it at that level. O'Neill can motivate but dunno how good he is tactically. Lord help us if Allardyce or Mclaren get it

i know - either of them two would be poor decisions, big Sam marginally better choice than McClaren. Luiz Felipe Scolari has also been linked but I'd go for Gus as number one choice.

Mr Long Ball. No thank you, he might have won trophies in his time, but he plays the long ball game all the time, very frustrating.

Almost masterminded a Celtic victory in Juventus, as well as guiding Celtic to the Uefa Cup final, losing out to Jose's Porto unluckily.

2 weeks ago I wanted Sam Allardyce and no one else, now its got to be Hiddink or O'Neill.

    Anyone but Steve McLaren

Martin O'Neill applied for the job of Barnsley manager

Fact on a stick. Don't think they even interviewed him.

Before he got the Leicester job

While he was still at Wycombe. I guess it was when we gave Anderson the job, or possibly Wilson. Maybe we made the right choice, maybe we didn't. We'll never know.

    Hes Dutch not English

therfore he shouldnt be managing England. Stuart Pearce is English, hes played for England and he'll show passion for England.

sack the Swede. If Sweden beat us in the World cup you will see him running down the touchline celebrating, taking his shirt off nd waving it about.

so do i. I bet Sven loved being set up by the news of the word - he got to sew them - more money. Also if we get knocked out in the first round Sven gets £3 million, not bad eh.
I agree with Dave Whelan and Shearer, we need an English manager. Someone whos not just bothered about the millions but bothered becasue they love England.

You get a lot of money from sewing newspapers together then?

I think I'll look into it. Sounds like the job for me.

    I agree

None of the English managers have the experience or the success to be England boss.

Look at Van Basten - Holland, and Klinsman - Germany. They had no experience at all, they just went straight into the job.

also you could say Mclaren winning league cup and getting into Europe was a success and Curbishly doing well at Charlton with limited budget. Both experienced - Mclaren has been working under Sven for years.
