I don't listen to Talk Sport but I'm guessing he said something in defence of Suarez? If so was he wrong?
All of England was wrong about what? Again I'm guessing but if he is making reference to the PC brigade in this country and their willingness to find offence in everything then he is right but I am making assumptions. Do you have a link to the interview?

I'm particularly surprised to hear you saying that Poyet should admit he's wrong because a majority of people don't agree with him. This is coming from someone who won't entertain the thought of Gazza being a world-class player in his era despite the fact that I haven't seen a single person support your opinion. In principle, does that mean that you are wrong too?
first jdb. i think on this the Gus is wrong and we shouldnt go backwards on this because most of the world isnt at the level we are yet. secondly l, to be classed as one of the best, i would expect a english player to be PFA player of the year.
I really have no idea what Gus Poyet said, and I really don't care. Is he in some position of authority or was he just stating a personal opinion?
Exactly what I was going to say. Mind you, he'll sidestep it with another bizarre leap in logic based around some "fact" or another, you do realise that?
If you answer my question though, are you wrong? Your answer to question 2 suggests that. On the subject of going backwards over racism, many observers believe that we are actually behind most nations regarding the issues of racism. As a nation, we are overly sensitive to the feelings of minority groups and this negatively impacts the indigenous population through positive discrimination. For some reason, we have conditioned people to believe that they should be ashamed of their background (african, black, polish, pakistani etc) when actually they should be proud of the fact - in the same way that if some cockney says I'm from Yorkshire, I tell him he's right - God's country! On a side note, "racism" is a racist word. We're all part of the human race - we shouldn't be classed as seperate races.
cluck cluck jibber jibber my old man's a mushroom http://v2.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthr...ing-to-Gus-Poyet-on-Talksport&highlight=Poyet
So let me see. Evra has said that suarez isn't racist. The FA in the opening of their statement said that he wasn't racist. Don't get your argument.
As I said yesterday, the uproar about Alan Hansen using the term "coloured" instead of black just shows how backwards we are when it comes to the racism issue. He was talking about racism as a general issue; so should he have said "blacks, asians, slavs, orientals, south americans...etc". I don't believe that the term coloured should be deemed as offensive, because it doesn't really have any particularly negative conotations. Obviously words like n****r, lovely personn, w*g etc have a recent historical relevance - but coloured? This article sums it up: http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/t...-using-the-word-coloured-on-match-of-the-day/ I honestly believe that this is "just the knee-jerk reaction of middle-class, white liberals claiming to be offended on behalf of some notional victims".
ok, just to try and put some perspective on this which dear reader do YOU find the most offensive: **** off you black *******, or **** off you italian *******; surely in this lunatic p.c. gone mad world they should both be equally offensive, but be honest they are'nt are they ? ones colour prejudice, and the others racist
