Those 3 decisions have cost us. 1. I think Nads was onside for his goal. 2. I think Hayes was onside for his goal. 3. It was a penalty! If not and he played the ball how on earth can he give a goal kick - unless it was a challenge from behind and then its a pen. Cheat! Apart from the above i thought it ws an excellent game. Best ive seen us play for a while. Think the 2nd spot gone now but ya never know! Just hope we can secure a play off spot now.
Hmmm I thought Nardiello was offside. Didn't think Hayes was. Pretty sure Howard was just outside the area when he got fouled. However, how the ref could gesture that he got the ball and then give them the goal kick remains a mystery.
Sorry, but Nads was marginally off, Hayes was deffo on side, I was sat bang in line. The standard of the officials has cost us I'm afraid.
exactly who was fouled for the pen incident? i thought shuker at the time but rib thinks hecks and u howard!???? I was too busy giving the ref a feckin! Aparently the replay shows it was a definite pen!
And guess what The defender put that cross of Shukers in, meaning it couldn't possibly have been offside.
Definitely 100% it was Hecky Thought it was a blatant foul, whether it was in the area is another question.
apparently the replay shows it up to be And he was in the area from where i saw it. Right in the corner.
RE: And guess what It could if he was under pressure from someone that was offside but apparently he wasn't according to Andy.
Sorry but 1. Nads was clearly offside 2. Hayes was clearly offside 3. "Penalty" incident was outside the area
RE: Sorry but Now I didn't get too great a view of this, and I'm surprised that your view was so clear from the Eaststand but there we go ... Correct me if I'm wrong but I've always understood offside to be when the ball is played forward (if I'm making a tit of mesen by all means someone correct me) - now from where I was sat it looked to me that for the 2nd disallowed goal (Howard or Hayes - I've heard different stories from different people) that the ball was cut back in across the area, ie- not played forward but passed backwards. 1) Am I wrong about my understanding of the rule and therefore opening myself up to ridicule? 2) Was the ball cut back in as opposed to being played forward?
