Now we all know that Brian Howard is ineligible to play for Scotland after playing in a competitive match for England U16's, but to deny him the opportunity of playing for his country (in his own mind) is sheer madness! It's not so much that he's been told "no" - more the manner in which the news has been broken. To be told that you have made the matchday squad, experience the feelings of elation associated with that honour and then to have it cruelly snatched away from you in circumstances beyond your control is heart-breaking and I really do feel for the lad. I hope that something can be done to help Brian realise his ambition, and that this will spur him on in his determination to do well for the Reds. You've had a brilliant season so far, Bri, and we're all behind you.

Didn't Giggs play for England U18s or something before Wales?

I know he "changed his name" after his mum & dad split up. Maybe if he's serious about playing for Scotland Bri could try that! :D
