Season ticket holder for 40 years He said he would love to go back to the original city struggling in lower leagues Said the ground is now full of fans more interested in taking photos of the players than watching the game Just shows winning league titles and cups doesn't do it for some fans Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
always had a good following city, even in the lower leagues, still it must pi ss some off when 50,000 all reckon they were there, thru thick n thin.
I have worked with a couple of long term City fans and they both said the same thing. They like winning but hate the crap that comes with it.
I was at the Etihad when they beat Bayern Munich, the away stand(where I was) was absolutely rocking, most of the City fans spent more time watching and taking pictures of the Bayern fans than watching the actual game. I was amazed at how poor their support was, it's not the Manchester City I remember!
To be fair he seemed very genuine And he wasn't selling us anything Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I could kind of understand where he's coming from but I would much rather be playing Barcelona on a Tuesday night in the champions league than any of the league 2 teams. Wouldn't mind watching Aguero, Silva and Toure too
Lad I met at college, got on really well with him although he had no interest in football. Didn't see much of him until a few years ago - suddenly he's a citeh season ticket holder! The advert on the radio at the moment makes me laugh about City bringing out their old squad for the game tonight - mentions Shaun Goater, doubt half of those in the CoMS even know who he is.
