According to 'ull commentators... we've not played well...but just taken the chances. They reckon the main difference between the sides were the two 'quality' Hungarians.
RE: According to 'ull commentators... In fairness that's pretty much what the Oakwell guys have said - seems that everyone is impressed with the goulash Gods.
This link should tell you. http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=64813&mid=406376#M406376
Credit to Davey in fairness he brought them in, very good decision it would seem. Seems to have brought a much needed threat upfront, and certainly something different.. More importantly, could be the foundations of a good partnership upfront!
I jokingly predicted 4-0 earlier - not far out was I? Just wish I could have had the home commentators describing it to me instead of the Humbersiders
no, he didnt bring them in.... davey is shepherd's yes man - shepherd makes all the decisions about who is signed and who plays.... so they say.
More rounded.. les cavalier in attack but more sure at the back. Ferentzi chased everything tonight. We have been crying out for a player like that for three or four seasons.
I thought we were still pretty poor apart from now we seem to have a couple of forwards that can actually put the ball away. McCann played better tonight, still dont think he is as good as Howard in the middle tho, Togwell showed just what Mattis really is, Reid still didnt play good enough, Nyatanga looks to be very useful indeed. More than happy with the points , but in NO WAY was it the best we have played this season. (Y) (Y) (Y)
Walking home! Oh the joys of mobiles! First half not many chance but we had better of play looked good with disco, hassel and togwell linking up down right,2nd half opened them up all time with slick passing, great goals esp ferenczis 2nd...think ward vs spurs in cup bullet header!
Baz mate , we were brilliant tonight As for Hull being rubbish , Derby weren't capable of beating them the other week . I've been a huge critic of the players since Christmas , but tonight they've been superb .
