How can you reject something that was never offered?

Just so I've got this right in my head

We've rejected the same amount of money for Done as we accepted for Vaz Te?

    Astonished at that

In my opinion Done is nowhere near a half-a-million pound player.

Feel free to bring this back to the top if he rips the defences of the division a new arsehole this coming season.

    Completely agree.

So Perkins is a great player, McNulty is a great player and now Done is a great player. I just don't understand how we did so poorly with those players in the side.

In some games last season i thought he showed some glimpses of brilliance and real quality - he just needs to remove the inconsistency. Cant remember which game it was now but some of his play really stuck in my mind.

Be interesting to see how he develops this year.

Done is gash on a stick.

If they offered 500,000 sterling then I would have snapped their Sarf Landan hands orff.

They must be ******* barmy to have done so. If they did. Which I think they wouldnt have.

I agree that in 3 or 4 games he looked very good. But in a hell of a lot more than that he was almost invisible. I lost count of the number of times Keith hauled him off before the hour mark because his impact on the game was zero.

Doesn't mean he won't improve like, but £500,000 seems like an awful lot of money to me. I hope Keith's faith in him is proved right.

I seriously cannot understand the negativity on here sometimes. He's a player that KH values higher than half a million. He's also a player that another clubs manager values at half a million. Yet our own fans are too ready to snatch peanuts for him, despite still developing as a player, and having had some really good games for us last season. As Omen says too (and i'm of the same opinion) that if he were to add consistency to his game then we might have a very good Championship standard player on our books.

And to compare to the Vaz Te cost is simply rubbish. Six months later we'd have got nothing for him. With Done we have much more bargaining power due to the contract time remaining.
