Why? The 2 sides there both play in blue! We lost and we can't have any complaints over that, we weren't robbed by a dubious refereeing decision or owt. We lost fair and square, no complaints on that. Now come on Pompey!
No win in our three games against them last season and only one goal. You could say they had our number.
Glad you think so I've heard people who watched on telly say we were better side, but it didn't come across that way at the game to me, I thought we gave away possession too cheaply, and whilst Cardiff didn't offer much neither did we. I recall in the pub the evening after the game, and all of us said the same, that we just felt we didn't really deserve to win, that we hadn't been cheated or kicked off the park or anything like that, so it was easier to accept....and for that reason I've got over that game. That's not to say I don't wish I was there today watching us because I do, and who knows what would've happened had Odejaye put the ball the other side of that post....but Cardiff beat us fair and square.
