Shocking last night and not much better at Donny. I'd drop him and put Butterfield in for the Bristol game.

Should be played in the centre.....

Maybe he'll have a decent game when played in position.

yep your right Jay he did. Was better last nite than he was at Donny. Still poor though. Thought Forest midfield closed him down very quickly last night. Think hes a player that likes time on ball. Definatly better in middle than outwide with what we have seen so far. He was immense at Derby. Same again on saturday and il be happy!!

So why are Anderson and colace being slated for being **** in the centre.

If it was all Halfredsonson fault.

    Did we play 4 5 1

    Started 4-4-2

changed to 4-51 when A Gray came on. ADS started on right, Hamill on left. Coalce was like a fairy all night. See their goal for evidence of said fairyness.

    Anderson played on the right

    midfield right to left

    Anderson Colace Hallfredsson Hammill

Then on 60 minutes we went 4-5-1

Hammill on the right, Gray on the left and Anderson joined Hallfredsson and Colace in the middle.

2nd half we played 4-5-1. First half was 4 4 2 with anderson right and hammill left. 2nd half was Hume (until subbed) right, hammill left with centre of anderson colace and halfredsson.

    You will be proved wrong

once he get's used to the pace of The Championship he'll be a top player. We've already seen great ability in small patches (Derby, Ipswich, the 25 yarder he nearly scored with last night), it's just a matter of time to get consistency.

    After two poor games

What about the 5 or so good ones he had before that. I personally didn't think he was too bad last night, a few miss placed passes but the midfield seemed so immbile there seemed to be no support for anyone, not just when iceman got the ball.

    RE: settled midfield

I think the next thing the team need is a settled midfield, we've sorted the defence now which has improved game on game since qpr, robins now needs to put faith in a midfield and leave it same for 2 or 3 games to get used to who will sit and who will break forward, when to overlap, shoot and cross etc etc

on a different note we shouldnt have 10 men defending a corner, its suicide, means they can send every man forward, we need to be leaving 2 players up the pitch (hammill and hume) for steele to throw outo if he collects and so they leave 2 or 3 back marking them

He is on the wing, put him in the centre and he's a different player. nt

Ice Man is much better in the centre.
To be fair last night I thought he looked "leggy" and did not really make any surging runs like we know he can.
He did get plenty of tackles in and had a blinding shot tipped round post in 2nd half.

Stick with him in central midfield along with Colace.

We looked much better when we went 4-5-1.
