    I noticed when the team was displayed he is called Emil

    Is that because Icelanders have their names the wrong way round?

    It's because they dont have family second names like we do. His dad is called Hallfred so he is hallfreds son. His son will be called something like Toby (lol) Emilsson and his sonwill then be called something Tobysson. So they use Emilas that makes him different from the other Hallfredssons. It's dottir for girls btw.
