Lets not try to kid anybody that was anywhere near Southhamptons first 11 and we got well and truly hammered tonight. There are too many in that squad stealing a living at Championship level, they have no heart for a fight when we concede 1 it almost inevitably means we will concede more they have no bottle, and what is the managements answer to our leaking goals for fun, they recruit a 41 year keeper who was third choice at a team who conceded sackfuls of goals while in the premier league and yet he's only played a handful of games in the last 3 years. You Mr Flitcroft and your management team have some serious issues to resolve and you need to resolve them quickly because the pressure is mounting you've been backed and have signed players but the teams weakspot for the last god knows how many seasons the defence looks weaker now than ever and the attacking players you've signed can't get a game. Very Very worried about where we will end up this season and after so much hope was around before the season started.

Rodriguez, Fonte, Ramirez, Clyne, Cork and Davis are all regulars for Southampton, hardly a reserve team.

And yes the defence has been poor but we were without Cranie, Mvoto and Nyatanga tonight. Its unfair to say Flitcroft hasnt sorted the defence out when he hasnt yet been able to field players he's brought in to do that in the same team.

I'm not convinced Nyatanga is going to make all that much difference he didn't do much for Bristol City's defence.

Yes Southhampton regulars and reserves who our shower of ***** made look like Barca's first team , too many in the squad have no fight, we have never been such an easy win for opposing teams, we got hammered when in the premier but at least we fought the current squad wouldn't know how to fight they are weak and other teams know it

What a load of crap...have you forgotten how the same squad manned up from the bottom of the pile and stayed up...when big hitters like Wolves went down...get real.

Thing is, we do have the heart for a fight. We showed it last season. I've never seen a team fight like we did from January to April. The players, to a man, were magnificent. We may not have been the most skilful team in the league, but we'd got the biggest hearts and it was a joy to watch them.

I'm struggling to understand where that level of intensity has gone because I thought our players were much more determined than what they're showing at present. When you know they've got it and they're not showing it, it's much more disappointing.
