Average? Kuszczak has bags of top flight experience, Bruno has played for years in the top flight of Spanish football, we were after signing Greer in the summer, Wayne Bridge has however many England caps, Mackail-Smith and Barnes have both scored goals consistently in this league, they've got Vicente and Crofts not even playing... I'd say they're far from an average side. Not that I'm excusing our performance though because it's unacceptable, but the last thing we need to do is overreact, there's 43 games left to play, we've 10 or 11 first team players to come back into the side. Relax, go out tonight or tomorrow and get battered, forget about this week and get down to Oakwell and SUPPORT the lads on Saturday.

I am entitled to call Brighton 'average' and to say that today's 'display' was embarrassing.

 

Over egging? All people ever say they want is experience, an experienced side comes in front of us and they're average? Give over, not only are they experienced at this level, they experienced in competitions above it, every single one of the players named in my previous post would walk in to our side, no questions asked.

Yes they are average. They hadn't scored in their last FOUR competitive games going back to last match of last season. That soon changed today. They will be mid table at best and today is an embarassment. Our defence should be ashamed.
