I wonder if we'll boo John Stones if he ever plays against us

i'll never understand the mentality of people taking to social media to abuse a footballer. they need a life

I'd say it's unlikely he'd be on Twitter making comments like that. A few of our young players followed another Hammill account that was exposed as fake.

Of course he does, all the fakes follow 'their' teammates and ex teammates.

    If it was him....

I don't think he should take it to heart so much tbh. A lot of the boos will have come from anxiety as much as anything. We all feared the worst when he came on (or at least i did, didn't booo tho). In a way he should treat it as a sign of respect that we know what he's capable of.

Shame he was booed, I thought he was one of the more loyal, genuine type players. But that's football, people get booed not necessarily due to unpopularity but just because it seems part of the dynamics of fandom to boo former players. I will say, if Hammill gets booed, then Vaz Te should also get it and many others. Hammill didn't leave on bad terms, he didn't hold the club to ransom. Some fans tend to have a go at the wrong players... Vaz Te will no doubt get a round of applause along with Davies, which in my opinion would make the Hammill boos ridiculous.

Danny Rose did retweet him but I still don't think it is him. I think there was this discussion a while back when someone said that he'd posted a picture of himself wearing a Barnsley shirt. All the photos he posts are already on the internet.

"i am the one and only adam hammill professional footballer. Proud scouser, instagram adamhammill DONT HATE CONGRTULATE"

He wouldn't write that on his profile surely?

you'd hope not. to be honest i didn't do a thorough check on the credentials of the account before i posted. you're right though having checked it through there's no photos of himself he could have possibly taken himself or that weren't already on the internet.

It's definitely not him, I just logged on and I'm blocked as I asked Wolves official twitter if it was him and they said he's not on it.

When I outed him he blocked me surprisingly.

oh well. speaking of the boos anyway, it's unfair to boo ex players who don't deserve it and I don't believe he deserved it. he kept us up in 08/09. i believe only a few idiots boo and then some other idiots just join in because they think they should.

Hammill was a great player , yeah he didnt leave on bad terms but when he left and then it came out that he only joined us on the condition a clause of 500k was put into his contract otherwise he would sign for leeds did leave a bad taste

I agreed it couldn't be real until I saw this pic http://instagram.com/p/U6xrCQtKmM/ not available on the internet no other way he could have got it

Also, if it's not him he has tons of posts what kind of a freak has that much spare time and desire to pretend to be a relatively obscure footballer on twitter
